My journey into social work began with one of the most meaningful moments of my life. When I changed my major from Accounting to Social Work, it wasn't simply a career change—it was a calling inspired by my three-year-old son.
Becoming his mother made me realize that the life I envisioned for him required growth within myself. I had questions; I didn't always know the answers, and I wanted to become someone who could provide guidance, hope, and support. My instinct was to learn. What began as a personal pursuit of knowledge in 2012 soon grew into a deep passion for serving those who feel vulnerable, overwhelmed, broken, lonely, fearful, confused, abandoned, or unheard.
I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and my Master of Social Work from Louisiana State University. For more than a decade, I have had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds across a variety of settings, helping them navigate life's challenges, transitions, and healing journeys.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, women's mental health—including pregnancy and postpartum depression—life transitions, and grief. I am trained in several evidence-based treatment approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to meet your unique needs, goals, and experiences.
I believe therapy is a collaborative process where you can feel safe, heard, and supported without judgment. Whether you're facing a difficult season, processing past experiences, or simply looking to better understand yourself, I'm here to help you navigate your journey with compassion and care. My goal is to walk alongside you with compassion while empowering you to build the life you deserve. When I'm not meeting with clients, you'll likely find me reading a good book, exploring new restaurants, traveling, or spending quality time with the people I love. I'm honored you're here, and I look forward to being part of your journey toward healing, growth, and lasting well-being.
